Cad or Zinc plating kits
Just interested to know if anyone can recommend a really good cad plating and or Zinc plating kit. I have numerous small fastenters to re do and I would like to do them at home.
Thanks

Curtis check with a local industrial plater. They do that kind of stuff all of the time. We get all kinds of stuff zinc plated here at work and it's cheap. They do it in a tumbling process where the parts come out with a nice sheen. The gold color is Zinc dichromate and a black zinc process is also available. To the best of my knowledge cad plating is no longer available due to the toxicity of the stuff.
