Transfer case info
I am looking for a divorced part time t-case, preferably a NP 205.
What year and application was this unit available? Any info would be appreciated.

That should be pretty easy to find but I don't know what years they were used. I would also check the for sale boards on Coloradok5.com and Pirate4x4.com.

The divorced 205's were only in Fords. The really old 4x4's like in the early 60's had divorced but not 205's. The 205 you need is everywhere, just look for a Ford display at the next show.

I hate to disagree, but you could also find the divorced t-cases in Dodges. These are set up for the proper front axle. The output is on the "correct" side.

A friend of mine had a red F250 when I was a teenager in the 70's. One of the old factory highboys. We went hunting (Montana) and ended chaining it up on all four to get to our favorite hunting spot because of the snow. Twisted the "third" drive shaft in half! (The one from the tranny to the t-case.)

Haven't found one yet. I'm just getting info at this point. I am trying to determine if it is worth the trouble to convert my C to a K.
