Des Moines Area Members

Even though I've been thru the area several times in the last 2 years, I don't remember any big truck stops south of Des Moines for 2 members to meet to swap parts. Anybody get any ideas ? Exit numbers etc..............Thanks.................Zoomy

the one teeitup is talking about is the FLYING J on the hickman road exit, exit number 125, it is on the I-35/I-80 loop of des moines, its not the far south side of des moines more west central. it is very large and has ample room for a swap.

coming from I-35 north you will come into des moines and have to exit at the council bluffs/I-80 west/I-35 south exit, im not sure of this exit number but i want to say its 83-86 you have to be in the west(right hand) lane. when you get on I-80 you will go west for about 8 or so miles, then the freeway curves south and you will see an exit for douglas(#126) a mile down the road is your baby, again be in the west or right hand lane. hickman road is also known as highway 6. any other questions just ask
Ryan
