Autometer Gauges

Hearing that a place still had the Autometer 3 3/8 fuel gauge I went on a search for them. I found 4 places online that said they had them. I ordered one from each place. As of today 4 all have canceled the orders saying they are no longer available. The black faced Moon 3 3/8 clock seems to be a good substitute now.

Scoggin Dickey lists all of the 3 3/8 gauges on their website, but I contacted them and they are no longer available with them.

Well, I'll need a new(er) tach dash soon. I'll haft go pick them up off him. I feel like I'd be exploiting people by trading for something 10x its value, though.

Damn guilty conscience. Guess it's part of being a good businessman, but it still sucks.

Nothing sets value better than supply and demand. Take 72 toe hooks for instance, they are only as valuable as they are because of their rareness and the desire for them.

I would be very interested in a Autometer #5514 fuel gauge. I would be willing to pay for it.

Hey Shifty,
GMan69 is also looking for one of those gauges. Go get them and if you don't use them yourself, sell them to GMan & Mudder!!!

I've been trying to find a good looking clock to go in that spot, anyone have any suggestions? My guages are PRO COMPs with the black back ground and the orange/red needles.

Moon makes a neat little clock that should fit in the middle hole.

Also, Egauges.com has 3-3/8" clocks in black or white face. They are in the Classic Hot Rod series (Part number HR93SLF). Or they have a 3-3/8" gauge that has temp & volt in one --left half is one and right half is the other-- (Part number HR74SLF).
