Buy a truck cover or not?
I have a C20 in great condition but not painted yet. I have a ways to go on it to get it to show condition. Due to no money at this time it wil be put away for a while in a garage. Do I need to cover it or just leave it uncovered?

If it's in a closed garage with nothing stacked on top of it I dont see why you would have to have a cover.JMHO

Dust will accumulate to a surprising degree. Some of the really good covers provide a little scratch protection, too.

I would go with the cover, especially if it is going to be setting for a long time with no work being done on it. It is surprising how much spider dung accumulates on a car and then if birds get into the building they can make a real mess.
If you are working on it oll the time and it is in and out, I would not bother with a cover as you should be able to keep up with any droppings on the truck. Jim |

Even in a garage dust bunnies will ruin stuff, especially chrome parts, if it
is going to sit for a while cover it, I personally would just go to wallyworld and get a cheap cover, like I did, that is made for big cars, mine is made for a Impalla SS, it will help for indoors only and it's around $30 bones, Pic

Make sure you get a breathable one.Outdoor ones can sweat up underneath.On my Harley,I just have two old cotton bed sheets.
