Official introduction with pics
Hello everyone. I visited this site frequently then finally joined in March. I didn't immediately post a greeting as I was waiting to get some current photos of my pride and joy.
I purchased my '72 K20 Cheyenne custom camper last August. It has a 383 with a TH350, NP205 transfer with 44 front and Eaton rear. 4:10 gears and beathes through headers and glass packs - sweet music! A previous owner did the lions share of the restoration work to the truck. I have done some cosmetic work such as replace the front bumper which was bent, remove and replace the rear bumper, have the paint professionally wheeled to salvage a badly oxidized finish, tonneau cover and other finishing touches. We have also worked through some mechanical issues. I replaced the carb, distributor, delt with a major vapor lock problem, refinished the seat and carpet in the cab after a leaking fuel tank and just today, drained the ATF fluid from the transfer case and replaced it with the proper gear lubricant . Looking forward to learning alot and helping others when I can here. There are a lot of great trucks and even better people here. A few pics to share.

special k: Its a Cheyenne Custom Camper. 383/350 as far as options, it has A/C (currently not working), tilt wheel, guage cluster with tachometer and cab marker lamps. Don't wait for me to call.....I don't plan to sell it any time soon.
