gas tank swap

Hi,
I put a 40 gallon out of a 90 Sub into a 1964 Sub. It was alot of work. I tried it on my 1965 C-10 frame and it was a little to long. I took a tank out of a mid 80's Blazer (I think they are 30 gallons) and it fit into the truck frame almost perfectly. There is a crossmember that needs to be moved back just a little.
My truck is a longbed which makes a big difference for accomodations. A shortbed frame is the same as a Suburban's. Hope this helps.
