Throttle Cable Help

Ok I have 350 w/ 700R4 trans, Holley 600 Carb. My problem is that the throttle cable is twisted coming out of firewall, because it's to long now that I have the correct bracket for the trans kickdown cable. Is it adjustable, the part that holds in the firewall and in the bracket have what looks like an ajustment but I'm not sure. Thanks for any help.

Any body have any ideas or ever have this problem? The throttle seems to hang up at about 1200 rpms, when it does I just pat the gas a little and it lets go.

You can get Lokar throttle cables that you cut to length Looks really trick. That might be what you need if the curve bothers you and is binding when the gas pedal is depressed. My throttle cable curve on my 84 that's just the way it is.

Oky,

I see what you mean. I just Installed my 600 Holly with the correct bracket that bolts to the rear bolt on the carb. I think we need to get a cut to fit throttle cable. Have you come up with anything?
