mold
i found some mold in my DD that has been sitting for about a month. it had a water leak that i think has been taken care of, but it left a nice smell and some mold. i just used some carpet cleaner on the mold, scrubbed it with a brush, scrubbed it with a towel to dry it off and sprayed some air freshener. ive never really dealt with mold before, but what have you guys done to get rid of mold, and make it stay away?

Move to a hot, sunny state
I have had the same problem in cars in the past and delt with it the same way you did. The only other option I could see it to pull the carpet and pressure wash it. Most things that kill mold (like bleach) will distroy your carpet too.

Baking soda works great for smells if it is smelly.

To get rid of any odors in your vehicle put some apple vinager in a jar and let it sit open in it. Just remember to remove it or put a top on it before you drive. I used that to remove the odor of cig's when I stoped smoking and it worked great.
