Adapter for NP203 to 700R4?

I am looking at putting a 700R4 in my 76 K5 (TH350 w/ NP203-still full time 4wd)... I have found the kit from Advance Adapters for this... PART # 50-6900, CUSTOM SHORT OUTPUT SHAFT, USE WHEN SWAPING A TH350 FOR A 700R-4 TRANSMISSION.

Has anyone used this kit? Do you still have to shorten the rear driveshaft since I believe the 700R4 is longer than the TH350?

It all depends. It is 1.75" longer. With the 4" lift on my truck,I would have enough slip joint to let the driveshaft to be used. You need to move the transfer,or move the engine.Your front driveshaft might need to be lengthened.
