Metal bed ideas ?

OK guys, it's time to start getting ready to assemble a bed for the '65 SWB. I really don't want to mess with wood, and I have a buddy who owns a body shop and said he could probly get some kind of metal bed to work. Someone else suggested just using diamond plate, but I'm not really diggin that either.
What I WANT to do is use a metal bed from a later model truck. I don't know what year they started using the thick, raised, metal grooves (like my newer truck, 90 something - Current)but that is definately what we want to do.
Any ideas as to a donor truck and year ? or anywhere I can find measurements for newer truck replacement beds ? Any other ideas ?
I've got new tailgate, front bedside, and the bedsides will be done and ready to paint in a week or two, so I'm trying to get this figured out asap.

Got 'em from a guy out in east Texas

I've got a lead on a guy that has 14 trucks and wants to sell them all for a package price. He also has a few other parts trucks with good bedsides and other parts here and there. I can find out how much he wants for them and let you know if you're interested.

The stepside beds were interchangeable (minus the fenders) from 55 (or so) up until '87. So any steel bed floor from that time period should interchange into your truck.
