Honestly, I've never seen these tanks until I was given the 71 3/4 ton (Custom/20). There was one on each side under the bed in front of the rear tires. I still have the other, here's a pic......

Ok, since you're not going to be finished in the next couple of weeks, I'm going to have to find a reason (read that as need to come over for more parts) to come down to your place again. Looking good BTW. Of course a 70 shortstep always does!

Naaaa, I had a Model A coupe with a 6:71 blown 350 but I got rid of it last year, needed a family car. That's my family car (1930 Chevy 2 door sedan)

That tank looks like the after market everybody use to use on their 1 ton flat-beds. Nice to see your truck coming along, front end looks great !

What are your plans for the filler neck hole in the cab? Are you going to use two tanks?
