Honestly, I've never seen these tanks until I was given the 71 3/4 ton (Custom/20). There was one on each side under the bed in front of the rear tires. I still have the other, here's a pic......

Naaaa, I had a Model A coupe with a 6:71 blown 350 but I got rid of it last year, needed a family car. That's my family car

That tank looks like the after market everybody use to use on their 1 ton flat-beds. Nice to see your truck coming along, front end looks great !

I hope that time permits, I try to squeeze in every spare minute on it that I get. I just got an in-line fuel filter tonight. (buying parts counts too doesn't it?)
