Unhappy Tuned port injection woes.....

Got all the wiring done, fluids in and cranked it over to get #1 TDC so I can stab the dizzy tomorrow. The in-tank fuel pump did not come on when cranking. I checked one of the fuse holders on the Painless tuned port wiring harness and what do you know the 30 amp fuse was blown. I put another one in and it blows. It even blows the fuse when the key is off. Anyone else been through this before? I fired off an e-mail to the Painless tech group for help to see what they have to say.

Sounds like you have a short, I would check the wiring to the fuel pump and make sure its not pinched somewhere. After that make sure the fuel pump is wired right. If you still blow fuses disconnect the fuel pump at the pump and make sure it's (the pump) not causing the problem.
