door panels
has any one made there own door panel out of sheet metal ? im thinking of taking the ugly black stock panel off and use it for a template and make new ones out of sheet metal
any done this yet if so can you put up some pictures even if its not sheet metal cloth panels or what ever all ideas are welcome thanks a bunch man this web site is the coolest

i got some real thin board at local upholstery shop along with vinyl top padding and some cloth material cloth is easier than vynil.several cans of spray glue from autoparts place.
cut out your door panel use paddingto make your design glue it to panel and then spraying glue on both pieces work your material over the padding leave 1in allway around to wrap aroun back. or you can use tuckand roll and just cover your metal panel these were done in vinyl then i redid the in cloth no pics of cloth the last pic is the wifes 69 the tuck/roll is just glued to original panel
