Lift on a burb
Ok thinkin of takeing lift off of my 90 burb so my wife doesent have such a hard time getting in.even though i have running boards and a step below that. end of story,anyhow will the front springs work on my 70 burb,as for the back it will be blocks.Guess i could measure everything.Thanks for any help Randy.

no, the front springs are longer on the newer models 46-47" eye to eye versus 42-43" eye to eye on the older models (i may be wrong, but i'm pretty sure about this)
i may know someone interested in the lift off of your 90 and may have factory stuff to trade. interested?

Thanks for the info I too did go out and measure and saw the difference on front springs,She said she still don't like to drive it because it's soooo-BIG but I LIKE IT I LOVE IT well you know the rest, biscquik65 that burb looks mean.I couldn't imagine mine with a 6" lift it seems pretty high with just a 4".But any how i guess it will stay the way it is for now.

This is a tip for burb people,for rust always look on the inside of your rear wheel-wells where they seam it together afterrocks pic way at the seam sealer it always start to rust through.And if it does then water and dirt will gather on the inside of the panels thus rusting from the inside out,this is happenning to mine now i didn't catch it in time.CRAP,CRAP,CRAP.

Or do what i did with mine..It started as a 80 3/4 4x4 burb bondo burb then i got this 89 2wd body from a board member for $250 with no support or motor...rust free 89 3/4 4x4 burb....
