long bed to short ?
Ok.......I know what has to be done to the frame to shorten it. Now I have questions about the bed.
My truck is a '72 long fleet with a wood floor. I know that I can buy repop bed sides. The wood floor is going to have to be replaced along with the metal strips. What else will I have to buy? What parts from the long bed can be used on the short bed? I know I can use the tailgate and the front panel. Are the underbed parts the same, for a short and long bed? Thanks

The bed cross-sillls underneath are the same just 1 less 2" high cross-sill on a SWB rather than on a LWB, bed wear strips can be shortened to fit. Everything can be used except the bedsides.
