Hi,
I have a 1972 GMC 2500 402. I want to replace the black instument bezel but I don't know how to remove the headlght switch knob. The windshield wiper knob has a set screw, but the headlight knob does not.
Please help.

Welcome to the site..... Normally this should have been posted over on the main 67-72 board, but anyhow here goes. Reach up behind the bezel and feel the light switch. Its sort a square. Theres a little button there that has to be pushed in to remove the knob and shaft for the light switch. Sometimes they can be stuborn. Remember that when you do get it out the lights will be on, so u need to reinstall it once u get it out to turn the lights off. There should be a nut on the switch too.
