Does anyone know where I can get engine chrome for my 67 250 6 cylinder?

Here is a valve cover and side plates for $25 (not mine).

my 250 has a chrome vavle cover and a chrome open element air cleaner. Both came with the truck though, so I'm not sure where to get them. I will say this though, the truck sat for 5 years before I got it and the valve cover has some pitting on it, and the chrome is flaking off on the backside (fortunately where you can't really see it).

Does anyone make cast aluminum valve and side covers for the 250? The new cheap chrome ones are junk. My kid has a 250 in his car that I'm trying to encourage him to keep.

We get our aluminum valve and side covers from Offenhauser.

Evilbay always has the valva and side covers for these engines. They usally range from about $10-$28 for each or set.

Clifford Performance and Tom Langdon's Stovebolt Engine Co. both sell them. Earthlink dumped my lengthy favorites list, so I can't post URLs.
Clifford's has their name on theirs, and Stovebolt has Offy and sometimes Mercury Marine cast aluminum valve covers.

Integral manifold is late model 6's. Your's shouldn't be integral head if it's original.

The intregral heads have the intake manifold built into the head instead of being a bolt on.

I think he is using a generic statement (bad one too) for many of his auction items. 194 and 230 were not made after 69 I think. I am not positive about the Valvecover, but I know the auctions with the side covers are false because the 292 is different from the others. I'm not sure if the valve cover is the same or not between the 292/250 of the post integrated head years.

Sure no problem. Tom Langdon is a great guy. He's retired from GM where he helped develop the L22 series of L6 engines [194-230- 250- 292]. and other engines. A couple of years ago when no one had the right length stock pushrods for my 292 project -- at least not for under a hundred, I called Tom and he found a dozen NOS for me for about $40.
