LED light bulb
Hello everyone, I found some real cool LED bulbs in AAP that directly replace the old 1157 incadesent bulb, but problem is that they will not blink. Nice and bright, but will not work as blinker in break/tail light combo. Any ideas?

yeah, 1) dont use them or 2) go without blinkers until you find a proper replacement

No I am not using them till I get them to blink. I went to their web site and they are not even listed there. Just wondering if anyone here has tried them.

You will need a solid state blinker assembly. The LED lamps do not pull enough current to get the old thermal flasher units to work. Look at any automotive parts store for the solid state flasher.

If anyone wants to upgrade to these bulbs they are really nice and bright. I got them from Pep Boys in the import section. Where all of the neon stuff is. Like NeCrOmanCeR stated, I had to upgrade to a electronic flasher, but that was it. Flasher was $8.00 and the bulbs were $7.00 each
