tech modification

A while back I read a discussion about putting a factory tech in a non-factory dash board assembly does anyone remember this thread and how can i find it Thansk dave

it's as easy as finding a factory tach, and putting it in your dash. you will need a new plastic lens with the tach digits on it


notice the tach doesn't have numbers on it


so you get a replacement lens with the numbers on it.

I thought the back casing was different too.

look like you would have to cut out the back of the dash casing.

thanks for the help yes the backs are different and so is the printed circut quess i could jump wires around but that would look like crap any other thoughts dave
