thanks jim--definately interested in the bedsides and steps if you plan to part the bed also the step supports. if interested let me know your cost and shipping to 78757. thanks again-sean

don, jim and i are in the process of working out a deal for whats left of the bed--he is gonna get me a few more pics then we will settle on a price.

Sean, that's great! I was hoping you were going to get it. That will solve my problem of finding a place for it, and letting it go to waste because I'm not using it. You should solve my problem of not having any time to work on my 72 C-30 with 2 of the 9 foot beds. It's a project that needs one of my 72 cabs in my signiture painted and put on, and putting all the parts I have to finish the job. I'll give ya a heck of a deal.

don i will definately be interested when you are done with it. like i said before i wish you would reconsider selling it--you will probably regret it later like i've done. i will need to sell my 67 lwb and 67 panel before i can even begin to take you up on your offer. i'm gonna sell these trucks unless you would be interested in a trade. i need the room and i'll never be able to give them the attention they deserve until i retire. both are in very good shape.

I'm going to try to put it together by the end of summer, but the paint job won't be a show quality professional type. It has rust free sheet metal now thanks to hodrodheneryj in AZ for the front clip, jq72 in Alabama for the perfect bed, and john@the pier in WI for the cabs.

I know I'll regret selling one of 1542 total production, but my interests right now are changing. I have a lot of regrets in life, and I'm sure this one won't be my last either.

JIMs70GMC user # 2756 Join Date: Jun 2001 Location: Chesapeake, Virginia Posts: 4,612	9footfan and dtlilly Here's pics of the 9' long step: __________________ 1970 K25, 8' stepside bed 350/465/205 44 up front, 60 in the rear 4.10s rolling on 33" Dunlop MTs 1986 K5, 350/465/208 Dana 60/14 bolt from a cucv 36" Super Swampers TSL/SX 1983 K20 w/ CUCV axles, 350/700R4/208 sitting on 37" Goodyears 1986 M1031 6.2 diesel, TH400/NP205 locker in the rear and a LS in the front, all stock for now..... 1986 K30, 350/400/205 dana 60 and 14 bolt. I kept the drivetrain. Body/bad and chassis are gone. 1981 K30, 350/465/205 dana 60 and dually 14 bolt. Has a G80, and a flat bed. Going to replace the flat bed. 1985 K20, 350/400/208 10 bolt and SF 14 bolt. I wonder where I can find some 1 tons. Hmmmmm Last edited by JIMs70GMC; 05-14-2005 at 09:20 PM.
