I've got the factory setup still on my truck. It isn't for sale, but it looks like any of the stock knobs (headlight, wiper) could be made to work on an aftermarket cable without too much trouble. Maybe using a gutted out light switch to give it some stability and connecting the knob/rod assembly to any old cable would give you a stock appearance. Just a thought...

The knob should be threaded I believe for that choke cable. You might want to state if your after the deluxe stainless center trim knob or the standard black knob...and to bad you didn't think of posting this a day ago before I sent you a package...I think may have a spare I could sell.

Your the main parts guy now. I didn't think of it.Doe! I was just picturing the upgrade and the choke would make it all happen.
I have a $11. Canadian Tire choke so I would need the all the parts
right to the carb. What kind of cable is factory? I might be able to reuse a cable.
If you have the SS one how much?
If you have the plastic black one how much?
Cheers

I just looked at mine. it is the threaded knob but the knob is all black. no stainless center. I have the whole cable shebang. disclaimer; the PO wore gloves so the knob has a build up of dirt/grime on the face. I dont know if it can come clean.
I no longer need mine so if you are still interested we can talk.

It went out Global Priority mail yesterday. Oh ya, I owe you about $5.00 from the shipping quote that I gave you. The postal scale weighed the box lighter than mine did. So once the money clears paypal, I will refund you. WES

I didn't realize that the OEM carb must have been driver side choke because it is
about a foot to short!Doe.
I'm going to build a extension somehow from some old parts I have.
Any other ideas??
