Well, I tried to shortcut a bit, and it looks like it is coming back to bite me in the ass...

I took the fuel hose from the gas tank...went into my external fuel pump, then ran from the fuel pump to the old metal line, from the metal line up to the fuel filter...etc.

looks like that is not going to hold the pressure (50lbs)...has any one else done this and have some suggestions?

oh ya, I didn't use compression fittings...I used the old screw type.

double flared fittings should hold that pressure just fine. what kind of EFI are you running?

It is a TPI called FIRST...it has these MONSTER runners that should make a lot of torque. It is also perfect for a Turbo when I finally decide to pull the engine and put lower compression pistons in it

I am running electromotive management...great system, infinitly expandable, also incredibly expensive

Not sure I would use them again...just getting the fuel map done is costing me about $1,200.

Let me ask a few more $...do you think its ok to use the stock fuel rails that go along the frame? How about the fuel line going from the tank to my external pump...I didn't change that over to FI line since I figured it doesn't start building pressure until AFTER the pump.

I think thats all I have for now.
