Hot Rod Pump Gas Drags truck

I was curious if the owner of the below truck was a board member:
He placed 25th in the Pump Gas Drags.
Rank: 25 ; Car #: 33
Name: Brian Oberg
Car: ’67 C10
Time 1: 10.009 @ 131.01
Time 2: 10.005 @ 132.00
Time 3: 10.085 @ 130.87
Average Time: 10.033

If anyone has more photos of it, I'd like to see 'em

I'm not aware of any TV coverage, but you can see short videos of each vehicle making a pass at Hot Rod vid link

That sounds like a small block. The ford that won it I think last year did a big wheelstand and couldn't finish. I was wondering what motor was in the wagon? Sounded like a 6 cylinder. Oh yea the truck I just let him borrow it. LOL Just kidding. I wish.

Last year Hot Rod TV (the show) had a whole 30 minute show devoted to the pump gas drags. Man it was sweet. They showed more about the cars and some different clips than they had on the net.

You want me to rub it in even more? hahahah

The event wasn't necessarily a spectator event but they were letting people in that wanted to watch...for free. But of course there were no concessions...and other ammentities that you would normally think would be at an event like this. It was more for the racers than for the spectators. I thought that was pretty cool myself. Still mad I didnt get to go ! haha

Very cool seeing that truck run down the strip. Now I remember why I open the bait shop at 4:am every day and do 2 fishing guides each day of the summer for. The money to some day do the same thing. JOHN
