Any easy way to remove my old slider and install a new one? Do I cut the gasket? Need some help.
Thanks Jason |

I just pushed on the corner and slowly worked my way around the entire window til it was out. No need to cut the seal. Take a small rope and put it inside the seal to put it back in.

It's been a while since I replaced one but it's not that hard.
To remove the old one push it out from inside the vehicle while turning back the inside edge of the gasket. To install the new one put the gasket on the window first, wrap 1/8" cord around the groove in the gasket, set the window in place from the outside, have someone push on it from the outside while someone else pulls the cord from the inside to put the gasket in place. You have to pull the bead out of the gasket FIRST and then just push the whole gasket and window out of the cab. zPutting it back in is easy you can put it in with a heavy nylon string (small rope) and pull the gasket into the cab while someone holds tha whole assembly to the back of the cab. Put the bead back in and you are done.

I just did the same thing this past weekend (procedures above). It was not that difficult, but a second man helping (pushing window) is essential. I also used vaseline around metal lip of window opening...helped a lot.
