Bodywork progress 72 burb *56k beware*
Well, I sold the Mustang out at my parents house and I did not have a ride back to my place so I drove the burb back... I started getting tired of looking at all the dents in it and I decided to do something about it. Went to my buddies shop and used his stinger dent puller (the type where you fuse a rod to the body and pull the rod with the slide hammer to pull the metal back out) Pretty cool tool IMO...I also welded up some holes and welded a plate in to shave the sidemarker.
This was before yes thats duct tape over the sidemarker hole and a whole lot of bondo covering the damaged panel and After... Here is the truck just sitting at my place... Took it out and did this... It used to look something like this side before...This is going to be next Sunday's project. With this just about completely pulled I am just about ready to try to install the caddy lights I have. I think I might attempt this on my own... I also did a little work on this door. |
