WTB 73-88 Blazer Trail Rig

Looking for a cheap ($1,000 +/-) trail truck. Of course it has to be 4wheel drive. Any option, any color, decent body.

Somewhere near Laramie Wyoming would be great.
Thanks

Or a blazer near Northern Indiana, I have family there.

There's a off road club that I want to get in, but not smash up my F250.

I might be interested in selling my '81 Chevy K-5 Blazer, 305 SB, 350 Turbo Tranny rebuilt less then 600 miles ago, 208 transfer case, 35" BFGoodrich M/T's about 40-50% tread left. Some rust, does pretty damn good in the mud and on the trails. If theres any interest let me know I will get some pictures up. I am thinking about selling it but not 100% sure I want too. Keep checking around and let me think about it a little more.
Ohh yeah and I am up in MT kinda a little far away.

I don't need anything to nice. Something I can put a cage in and not worry about damage. Put a few scratchs in my SuperDuty and that cost to much to worry about. I can travel a decent distance.

4 x 4 trail rig.

Does it have to be a driver, or do you plan to trailer it home? Our '79 K5 has a bit of rust be we just replaced the drivers floor pan and lifted it 6". Not yet back together, but it's $900 with the 203 and TH350, or $1200 with the 205 mated to another th350. It's got the 400 in it, original motor. Son started this project and it is now abandoned in my garage. Thanks, Brad

I'd trailer, doesn't half to be a driver at all. Just something that I can take down tight trails and not get sick when I scratch and dent the sides. Where are you at?

Cool '79 K5

I'm in Oregon, Portland area. IT is a silverado model with power windows, etc. Most stuff works, but it needs some TLC. Top is off it right now, but that can be rectified. I will need to finish up teh front end so it is dragable and steerable. Any advice for getting the stock steering arm off the front axle so I can put the raised one on for the lift kit? It is REALLY on there. I got one bolt shim out but the other two are really tight. Heated and pounded, but nothing yet. Thanks, Brad

I won't be driving home for another 4 months. Looks like a good deal. Probably to far away for now.
