Rusty Cab repair
I have a '65 GMC with an extremely rusty cab. I'm in the process of trying to find a nicer cab but if that falls through I'm going to order every possible patch panel available and weld em in. Of the parts readily available it needs cab corners, outer rockers, inner rockers, rh and lh floor panels, and cab supports. My question is this: Does any body know of any companies selling patch panels for the front of the cab? specifically the portion below the firewall where the bottom of the fender bolts on? Thanks in advance

Where are you located? I have a 66 big window cab that is pretty solid but would need rockers replaced. I have not peeled back the carpet but it feels VERY solid. I may pull the seat out next week and get a look at the floor. If you are anywhere close to NE Texas I might even deliver it for an additional fee. BTW asking $100 for the bare cab. I thought I had it sold but nothing for sure yet.

If I lived anywhere near NE Texas I would buy it TODAY, but I'm 2000 miles away in British Columbia, Canada. It is almost impossible to find any parts locally especially a solid cab. How much additional to deliver?.........Just kiddin

I'm in a bit of the same boat Magooster, and will need floor panels. I would be interested in hearing where you get them and how well they fit the cab, if you go that way. Thanks for posting. I'm afraid I'm gonna be taking my cab off as well. Brad

Hey, Brad I will keep you posted on how everything fits. I am going to pick up the parts from a local restoration shop, and I think they get their stuff from Goodmark but I'll let you know. Magooster (Mike)

Rust restore
Thanks man, I appreciate your assistance. I'll hopefully get started on mine as soon as hay season is over. Brad
