Look at my poor gas tank skid plate
The P/O did some cutting on this for some odd reason. Moron!
It could probably be "fixed" as it is solid otherwise.

Was it cut to fit a hitch?
Hard to tell from the pics. Why fix it, won't it still work okay?  Maybe I'm not seeing what your wound up about, sorry... |

Yeah, looks like it was cut for a hitch maybe. I can understand why you'd want it fixed. Like VT says, it'll still work and if your 4wheeling seriously it probably won't matter. But if you want it more for show then I'd fix it too.

Aren't the two jagged torch cuts on the front edges for exhaust clearance? I agree the rectangular cutout is probably for a hitch.
