i once had a tapered screen in my tank but you had to dimple the neck a bit because you could push it all the way into the tank with a hose but once it was dimled it stayed i dunno about keeping sugar out but you sure had a hard time stealing my gas. also a fence charger like for cows pluged in to the battery and the grund to the earth and the other end to the truck works pretty good but in the morning the battery is dead. maybe plug in 110 volts from the house one to earth and the other to truck ya baby that works good.
touch once then one more time they wont touch no more and if you put water on the ground they will still be there in the morning ha ha ha
he he ( dont try that) warning may be fatal
