Question for those with aftermarket air

From what I read on here everyone seems happy with the cooling effect of the aftermarket air. I was wondering how the heating and defrost fuctions work? Living here in Pa, I need it all. Anyone have any comments?

Several different manufacturers making custom fit units now that are sized for a particular vehicle. Most of these use an electronic water control valve, so you can actually adjust the temperature. They're nice, but expensive. Electronic controls are also available on some universal (less expensive) units. Efficiency depends upon matching size of unit to area being heated/cooled. Confused yet?
