Paint looks great. Painting it yourself? I tried painting one once and the base coat did just fine but the clear coat started peeling off a few months down the road. I want to paint my '86 with a fresh coat of black base and clear but when I do I will take it to someone who does this for a living. Do not want a repeat.

trying to that is just a coat of etching primer on the bare metal we will see I may just get it primered I need it to haul some summer stuff,,,,,
