This last weekend I pulled the top off the 70. The owners' manual says subtract 225# from load capacity for hard top. That seems about right for the weight of the top. Me and 3 teenage boys pulled it off no problem. Hopefully the pictures come through.

The driveres side is the good side. The pass front fender has a dent at the top of the wheel arch from a pissed bull. The uphol is shot, along with the dash pad and steering wheel. The paint you see is original. It was given to me by a little old lady (really!!!) who had to sell her ranch and move to town. Her and husband used it for hunting rig, hence only 71K miles.

Does it have the jacking instructions on the rear wheel well or the tire mount? If so take a picture and post it. Every one would like to see one...

Are those 15" or 16" wheels?

Those are 15" wheels. I am pretty sure they are the originals. Never had hub caps on them (no scratches where the caps grab the rim). Was a gas tank skid plate standard equip on my rig? There is one on mine, but it is not listed on the glovebox sticker. No jack sticker on the wheelwell, but the sticky is still there.

Still huntin another steering wheel. They are as easy to find around here as rabbit feathers!!!! I'm picky, want the correct color and vintage wheel.

Yep, I think sandalwood is the correct one. I would buy a repro, but I have heard bad things about them. Anyone waant to see under the hood, where a mighty 250 resides? Going to paint the motor when I do the HEI swap and the int. alt.
