i need an engine
im looking for a good used engine for my 87 silverado its fuel injected 2wd im in nw washington and ill pay shipping any suggestions

Buy a crate shortblock. it will cost you less money in the long run.

If you are going stock, I would recomend Jasper. Put one ( 350 TBI) in mine 16 months ago and no problems, 3 year /75000 warrenty. It was right at $1700,00

I spent $2800 FOR ABOUT 330 hp not sure what the torque was, but it was on the data sheet. I thought it was worth the extra 1000 for the power as compaired to the goodwrench. Of course you could build it yourself for less, but I didn't have the time.
