1967-1972 short bed trailer
anyone have a short bed trailer and pictures? Im thinking about building one and would like to see if you used a factory frame or what? thanks

I have a lWB trailer and hate it. It has coil springs and even with new shocks, it jumps all over the road. If you build one, go for leaf spring setup!!

I have a short trailer, already inspected & titled (CA I think). It was running a short fleet bed, so it is a bolt on. The bed is gone. Sell Cheap.

I have made a few p/u bed trailers. The coil ones are a bit squirmy and rock when loading. If its on the frame cut it under the cab so you will have enough to work with, take a piece of pipe that will fit your hitch and notch the frame and bend in for braces,make it at least 6' from the bed, a short tongue will make it squirmy going down the road and hard to back up.
