suspension question???

I have a 71 chev I want to make it handle the best it can. What type of suspension do you think I should run? I want to run airbags as part of it unless that won;t work to well. The truck is gonna be mainly for the street and the occasional trip down the strip.
help please

Start with good suspension and steering parts. Nothing else will help if you have worn-out tie rod ends and control arm shafts. Next add high quality shocks and sway bars. Any rubber bushings your truck uses (sway bars, track bar, trailing arms, etc.) should be replaced with new ones made of polyurethane. Lowering the truck a few inches front and rear will, of course, lower your center of gravity, but do it using good quality components from a company like Early Classic Enterprises.
