Pic Request: Buddy Seat Hinge

Today I got a set of buddy bucket seats to rebuild! (thanks teeitup!)

But, the buddy seat is pretty torn up. I was hoping one of you guys
might have a few really good pics that would show me how the seatback
and seatbottom are supposed to attach. I am going to take most of it
appart and sandblast it, then try to put the parts together with some new
foam. Wish me luck!

Hello! New here, just recently traded hard-earned cash for a 1968 CST with the exact seats you're looking for pics of.

I'm going to be picking up the truck on Saturday; if all goes well I can take any pics you want and e-mail them to you, provided somebody else doesn't do so first.

I would sure appreciate it!!!

I am especially interested in seeing how the buddy seat foam sections attach to the metal bucket. Also how the passenger side attaches to the frame. I think I might be missing a bracket on the passenger side. The driver side still has its sliders in place and
they work, but they raise up the seat a little. I think there was some kind of basic
bracket on the passenger side to bring it up to the same height as the driver side.

Thanks!!

The passenger seat uses spacers (a very fat washer) about 1/4 inch thick between the seat and the frame on all 4 corners. Maybe they are only 3/16.

Hope this helps - Bob

Two questions: What is a buddy seat, and what is pufta beer?

Here is the clamps that hold the console part down. They look alot like conduit clamps from home depot.

Thank you!

Those two smaller tabs in that pic, was it bolted directly to the seat wood? Or was there a cross piece?

Here are some other pics from another thread, putting them all in one place

The two smaller tabs go on the top part of the console. The big center hinge is for the bottom piece. The screws go into the wood.

Ive been sand-blasting

Here is a pic of the cross piece that came on my buddy seat... I cant for
the life of me figure out how this part could be stuffed up into the seatback
and not poke through. Did you guys have this bracket at all?

My seats are getting recovered right now. I didn't remove any material before taking them in to the shop. When I pick the up, I'll ask about that piece. Do you have all the wood pieces and foam? Let's see a picture of all you got, and see what's missing.
