Need pics or ideas for plug wire retainers
I would like to see pics of what style plug wire retainers are being used on sb v8 with factory exhaust manifolds. I hate the way my wires hang and need some ideas on how to get them ran nicely. Thanks.

Here is what I'm using. Not sure how well they'd work with stock manifolds but they're worth a look.

This is how I have mine. Makes for a nice clean appearence.
I got all the plug wire hangers from GMC Paul. Took 4 of the 2 wire hangers, 2 of the 4 wire hangers, and 2 that bolt on at the oil pan. Looks good. I used NAPA p/n 700254 HEI plug wires. Don't have pic, or I'd post it for you. Hope this helps?

Howdy;
Slammed67, NICE detailing on your project! Far above the "good clean driver" level I'm shooting for. Back to the subject; LMC sells the stock type solution of hangers and heat shields as well for ram's horn manifold equipped engines, but as noted, you need the LONG plug wire set that comes down behind the enigine, then forward. After the changeover, you'll not burn a plug wire without some serious effort!(lol) Just 0.02 cowboy33713 |
