Rear end drain plug
Anyone drill and tap the differential (12 bolt) for a drain plug? If so, what size and location? Thanks

Most diff drains I have seen are in the cover. They usually consist of a fitting that goes thru a hole you drill in the cover which has internal threads for the plug and seals on each side to prevent leaks. You should be able to buy a drain plug kit from an area auto parts store. Not the best description but I hope this helps.

Ya just put it on the cover, you can get a kit like mjrmn said, or weld on a threaded collor, drill a hole in it, and install a plug. If you feel like spending money LPW's Ultimate-12 cover has a fill and a drain.

 I JUST BOUGHT A NEW CHROME ONE AT NAPA WITH THE DRAIN PLUG ALREADY IN PLACE. SEEMS LIKE IT WAS $22  JOHN
