Performer RPM intake
Is Edelbrock Performer RPM Intake(the high rise, dual plane) good for daily driving? I'll be running new heads(Torquer S/R 305) and a mild cam. The heads will bring the compression up a little, so I thought maybe I could squeeze more power out of a Perf. RPM than the regular Edelbrock Performer intake. This is a smaller inch engine(307) if that helps. Thanks.

Your going to need more cam. I did the RPM on a stock cam, 1406, headers, and heads and could not get it to run right. Go with the Performer, it's much better.

I agree. The Performer will work best in the idle-5500 rpm range, as where the RPM does 1500-6500...for a small semi stock SBC, do the Performer.

Yep. Use the Performer or new Performer EPS. The Performer RPM likes big heads, hot cam, and low gears. Read Edelbrock's Power Package info on their web site. It stresses matched components.

I've had both intakes on both stock and modified engines, you'll want the performer for a mild cammed moter.
