side marker lights

I hear a 70's van had chrome trim side marker lights that fit our trucks...anyone know this for sure? Anyone got pics or some for sale ??

All the 70's vans I've seen have the same plane jane side markers thet our trucks came with...

I bought a set of those chrome trim sidemarker lights off of a '70s van. They were held on with Torx screws. That was the only time I ever saw a van with those sidemarkers. All the others I've seen have been the plain type. Maybe they weren't original to the van.

The vans did come with the CST/Cheyenne style side markers..I see them all the time. They are the exact same as what we have. Seems the late 70's and up to mid 80's had them.
The earlier ones had the plain jane ones like base model on our trucks.
The later vans had a smooth side marker that looks nice on our trucks if you have gone a custom route. They also put out more light from the same bulb if that is important to you.
All 3 styles bolt directly on with no mods whatsoever.

I got my set in a junk(treasure)yard off of a van a few months ago. In fact I seen a set on a van at a junk(treasure)yard today.
