GM paint color...orange or red, can't tell
My 69 k5 looks somewhere between orange and red. The glove says red. What color is this. Its the original paint. I need to have some mixed up and put in spray cans for the interior, but I have not idea what # of paint it is.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

The glove box will have the paint code, sometimes it has an extra letter or number behind or in front of it, but it's usually a 3 digit number. Some 2 tone paints have an rpo number that translates into the two colorsused. Mine did not match on first batch of paint mixed up. As the interior color usually the same as the interior, I removed the glove box door and had it computer color matched to the INSIDE of the door as that is not faded. I got a perfect match. Also try autocolorlibrary.com.
