WEEKEND Progress
Anyone that has read my threads knows my seating situation was very precarious when I bought my Blazer. Well this weekend I finally had enough parts to start my project, front seat area had some older repairs, nothing bad, a little welding time and all is well. Dreaded starting on back seat because of the disasterous shape the legs were in, figured I wouldbet putting in a new floor. Believe it or not, a rear seat had never been installed. Little plugs in all 10 holes. All I have to do is weld up the 4 holes PO drilled to hold the seat in. Anyone have a suggestion how to knock out the plugs without totally destroying them.
Special Props to Teeitup and VT Blazer, thanks to you guys Mama's redhaired baby is much safer. |

If plastic, I'd say try to just knock them through. If metal, check for how they would have been installed...allen key maybe? If they are metal inserts, soak 'em good with some P-B blaster first. Good luck, glad your ride is safe/correct now. |
