Found a 1970 C10, maybe
A friend remembered someone that wanted to sell his 1970 C10. The body is a little rough and needs paint but it is all there. My main concern is it has rear leaf springs. Here is the good things.
GM crate engine with less than 1000 miles -it has the power -will probably be for sale soon -I have a 350 +.030 in the garage -new Holley 650 -older Weiand aluminum manifold, PN 8004 -older Edelbrock tall aluminum valve covers -new fuel pump -new water pump -new 4-core radiator -rusty long headers with Flows TH-350 transmission -approximately 5000 miles -shifts great Posi Differential -3.08 -I could feel it while turning out of the gas station Power Steering -feels good and quiet Power Disc Brakes -don't know if they are stock or replacement Cab -possibly CST -AC though disabled -nice but dirty bench seat (sits well)(adjustment rod/cable missing) -good glass -older Sony cassette stereo (to be replaced)(hope the dash is not cut) -cracked dash pad -head liner -door panels -crappy carpet -Grant steering wheel -I think everything works -bed lamp (exterior) -emergency brakes spring is broken Bed, LWB -some dents I would give it a 7 but I am picky Tailgate -good I would give it a 9 Wheels & Tires -older 5 lug aluminum slotted wheels -new tire on the rear -older tires in the front Trailer hitch Exterior -all the moldings are there + extra pieces. surely will need to buy a few pieces -paint is rough and there are some dents with none being very large or difficult -front chrome bumper -rear chrome barden-like bumper -grill has some small dings and scrapes -small rectangular door mirrors -has had three different types of mirrors in its life and that means holes Fenders -right front fender has been replaced from a donor Price -priced right Will know more tomorrow when I meet the owner and make the deal.

Yep, it is in Rio Linda. Do you want to see it tonight? I am going there around 5ish?
What do you think of the leaf springs other than being more expensive to lower? Quote:

I run a C-20. I'm ok with leafs. The coils ride so much nicer though. 5ish oughta be good. Can;t hang long though. I am helping a buddy wax his RV. I'll call ya.
