Well, the frame is back from being powder coated along with all the control arms, drag link and x members. I'm placing an order with Early Classic today for drop kit, SS brake lines and polygraghite bushings for the rear. I'll be going buy Advance to pickup everything for the front end. I'll be cleaning bolts, painting parts I'm reusing and reassembling everything frame related in a week or two. Pictures comming soon!!!!!!!!!! Wish me luck!

I'm jealous! There seems to be a problem with my ability to do this with my truck...like I seem to keep working myself out of a job. My retirement is okay, but it pays the bills and doesn't support my "habit". Looking for a new job, now, so I can pay to play.

Keep us posted. By the way, how many $$ to powdercoat the frame?

I have the Early Classic Enterprises 2.5/4-inch drop with discs on my '69, along with the adjustable track bar. I installed new stock height springs on the front, and rebuilt the front end with all new ball joints, upper and lower control arm shafts and bushings, idler and pitman arms and tie rod ends. I took it to a trusted friend who does alignments for a body shop, and he set everything back to factory specs for a spot-on drive. I recommend ECE stuff. No hassle and everything is factory/GM/Delco stuff. No adapters and I can go to any parts store and get replacement parts without mixing components.

They sandblasted everthing!
Coated frame, 4 front control arms, rear control arms, rear shock plates, auto xmember, front xmember, idler arm support and drag link was $500 even. Thought it was a h@ll of a price.

They specialize in industrial powder coating among other things
