69 longhorn f/s

I found a 69 longhorn in town (drayton valley Alberta)Truck looks pretty good.the rockers are rough and needs a front clip(its a GMC)it is a 4 speed stick.the truck is dent free but has some rust on the rockers, doors and front fenders. It also hes the shoulder belts in it.the truck is not mine but if you want i could take some pics and post them in a few days. The price is $2995.00 but i am sure it would sell for less with a cash offer.Just thought i would give a heads up on it

Go talk to him and start a conversation about how rare the shoulder belts are.Ask him to think about it,"when`s the last time you`ve seen a truck with them?"Then explain that since it was the first attempt,GM designed them improperly and they were killing people in minor accidents. So,GM recalled them and put back the lap belts until`73.The original owner must not have gotten his notice. Then offer to help him out and swap him for some lap belts just to be nice and help him out. Then, sell them to me.I`ll give you twice what the lap belts cost.

I`m sure. That was probably your first thought when you saw them. The first time I saw a tilt column it was in a $600 truck at a Used Car Dealer.I offered a guy working for me to buy him the truck and take a little out of his check each week(after I swapped the column). That`s how I got my first tilt.
