updated 87 pics....got my cowl hood on now!

finally got my steel cowl hood on....wooo hooo! and the bed is mostly done....just some minor work, and some glazing...the hood is a "reflexxion" brand..and let me tell ya, it lined up damn near perfect....no dents at all, not even small ones...and very solid, and not "flimsy"....this is the second one i've had in this brand, and i'm very pleased.

should be sealed by the weekend

got to get it ready by the 2nd of july....we got a pretty big car show here in elkins...around 700 cars or so (thats big for here)

i feel like i'm living an episode of american chopper......i've got this deadline to be done by next friday...and i still got to seal it, etch prime alot of it, spray it, buff it, color sand it....etc....the list go's on and on....

i went ahead and ordered the 15" torq thrust II's...mainly because i can still use my tires i've already got in the front....(to save some $$$)

so i'm going with 285/70-15"s in the rear, and 235/75-15"s in the front....def the muscle look

i only needed one door, my pass. side door is GM, but the drivers door had some rust around the door handle, which is weird, so i went ahead and got an aftermarket door for that side......i got it from that atlas auto body place....there "CAPPA APPROVED" doors...i think by "Gordon's"....there suppose to be the best grade aftermarket you can buy

it lined up really well, better than most of the "jap-crap"...all the holes lined up too which is alittle rare anymore

Man that's coming along nicely. Don't rush it though. If you can't make they show, there will always be another one. Don't hurry the paint or your gonna regret it....
