I'm sorry, don't mean to hijack this thread, but I'm a novice when it comes to these hooks. What's the big deal with having them? Is it just something you want to show on your truck? Where do they fit, on the front of the frame? Did they just come on 4wd trucks?

Again, sorry for all the ?'s......just trying to learn about differant items that were available for these trucks........

They are one of the few parts not made aftermarket today. Not many trucks came with them originally. You could order them on 2WD or 4X4 (mostly found on 4X4). They bolt to the front frame rails. They are a must have for many truck owners today.

I know there are alot of parts for these truck that seem pretty high and some parts that i would not buy for myself,i think it was just last year a nos am fm on ebay brought around $1500,ya know it still sounded like a am fm....lol.who knows what might be the thing to have next year.
