What is a SM420? Guess since I don't know what it is I don't need it, but just in case thought I would ask. I will be back in So. Calif later next month.

Sorry, that would be a early up til '67 4spd truck trans w/ granny 1st.

Thanks, probably too heavy to put in my suitcase. Would you happen to know what the model number would be on a 4 speed with granny that would be in a 71 one-ton? Got a parts truck with that in it and thinking about moving it to a 68 short stepside that currently has a 3 speed.

Im in Canyon Country off the 14 freeway just past the 5 14 split. Its about 3-4hrs from you.

Post that sucker up on Pirate4x4.com for $50, they have a large member base in So Cal and the 420 is a sought after item for rock crawlers cuz it's short & has very low 1st gears. Jeepers love 'em. Good Luck!
