my new project
i got a new truck to build on. i got it last week but my internet at home has been broken til today. it is a creampuff for sure. the body is straight as a nail. it has a 4.3, true dual exhaust, and factory rallys. i've got a cowl ind. hood for it, and i think i'm gonna paint it back white with some viper blue racing stripes. it needs a windshield, dash pad, tailgate, and there's a leak in the gas tank. it runs like a top though and has working air. i'll post the progress i make, i'm shaving the stake pockets right now. i'm pretty excited to get this thing on the road and do some cruisin.

Looks like a good project truck to me. Sounds like it's going to be a nice ride when done.

i've got about $500 in it right now. i put new calipers on the front ($25) one was stuck. then i got new plugs, wires, cap, etc. i got it from the guy that bought my 69. he came and picked it up and seen my 84. he said do you like that body style? i said heck yeah! he said i got just what you need at home. he basically lost interest and was building a 68, so he let me have it cheap.

today i made a crude but functional lift and dolly for my bed. now i can roll it into the garage and get this roll pan on and shaved up. i got rained out about 2pm so that's probably gonna be it for the week. this really sucks doing every bit of this work by myself, it's a slow process for sure.
